All the information to organise and book your PSE visit in Cambodia

Visit the PSE school in Phnom Penh, it's possible!

We are delighted to welcome you to the PSE school for a guided tour of our various programmes, in French, English or Khmer.

This is a solidarity visit, which will give you an idea of the scale of PSE's programmes on the ground and our method of taking children from destitution to a vocation by taking a tour of our centre. We'll also tell you about the different ways you can get involved with the association, such as sponsorship (a regular donation of any amount, which enables us to take full responsibility for the needs of the children helped by PSE).

The organisation of visits

1 hour visit with a member of our team
- by reservation only

A non-exhaustive presentation of the programmes we put in place to lead children from destitution to a vocation, at the very heart of our school.

Visits take place Monday to Friday at 10.45 am (except public holidays). Booking is compulsory.

Visits are free and carried out by our staff, who take time out of their day to show you around the centre. If you are going to be late, please let us know as far in advance as possible.

We would like to remind you that we are offering you a solidarity visit, with the aim of getting you interested in the association and opening up to our actions. We'll be showing you the different ways in which you can get involved with PSE, such as sponsorship (a regular donation of any amount to help cover the overall needs of the children helped by the association).

Have a lunch in PSE's restaurant
- by reservation only

The "Lotus Blanc" is a real restaurant which allows our young people from the Hotel School to train in real conditions. You will appreciate the quality of the service and the kindness of these young people, who you will find again a few months later in the best establishments in Cambodia.

Have your hair done by our students
- by reservation only

Relax, our students will take care of you! Manicure, pedicure, haircut, make-up... They will take care of you.

The salon is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 11.30am to 2.30pm.

Visit our shop: the handicrafts are made on site in our sewing workshop by the mothers of the children supported by PSE
- free access

Before leaving, a visit to the shop is a must! You'll find everything you need to delight your loved ones, while helping mothers of families in great difficulty.

The shop is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

A visit with respect for the children above all

The visits we organise are done with respect for the children and our local teams, we ask you to respect the customs of Cambodia.

We remind you that the PSE centre in Phnom Penh is a school: the children's day goes on as normal and we will not be able to modify their timetable (to organise activities for example). During school hours, visiting the classrooms is forbidden but you can be in contact with the children during the break, we promise you hundreds of smiles!

It is not possible to meet Marie-France des Pallières, founder of the association.

We ask you to wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees.

You will not be able to distribute materials directly to the children but you can entrust them to our leaders who will redistribute them fairly and according to the needs of the children.

Here is the list of what we may need:

  • Second hand: clothes (children/adults), games, cuddly toys, childcare equipment, computer equipment, school equipment, English books (for children or in connection with our professional training)
  • New: school material bought in Cambodia (IBC shop for example) not from abroad

Sponsor a child to put a smile back on their face and help them in the long term

Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE) takes care of the poorest children in Cambodia, whose living conditions are particularly difficult and precarious. Without the association, they would not be able to break the cycle of poverty in which they find themselves.

Sponsoring a poor child in Cambodia means changing their destiny and giving them the chance to make their dreams come true. Pour un Sourire d'Enfant offers them support from early childhood through to professional integration, and ensures that all their needs are taken care of so that nothing stands in the way of their education.

Volunteering to help children in Cambodia find a future

Volunteering with Pour un Sourire d'Enfant means joining teams, feeling useful and having a real impact, as our volunteers tell us: "We get involved with motivated people who want to make a difference", Laurent, PSE Nord.

Thanks to volunteering, we can take concrete action to help the poorest children in Cambodia. We receive funds while keeping our fundraising costs as low as possible!

Together, we can put a smile back on thousands of children's faces!
